Maniac Mars
A downloadable game for Windows
Description
In this strange mash-up of Maniac Mansion and Marooned on Mars, Commander Keen finds himself having to sneak into a large Vorticon-owned Martian mansion, so he can recover his missing spaceship parts and get back home!
Backstory
Maniac Mars serves as the incredibly important, crucial prequel to Day of the Alien: Tentacles Ate My Babysitter! You absolutely have to play this one first or the plot for DOTA:TAMB won't make sense!
...Just kidding - this game was only made as an afterthought while I was working on Day of the Alien. My reasoning at the time was that because Day of the Tentacle included its prequel Maniac Mansion as a hidden bonus game, I should also include a hidden bonus game for my Keen/DOTT crossover fangame Day of the Alien. Therefore, Maniac Mars was born as a side-project that was shipped with Day of the Alien at the end of the summer of 2002.
